RAQ is BAQ in NYC with a rare appearance tomorrow, February 11th at the Highline Ballroom. Though they’ve only played a handful of shows over the past few years, the prolific jamband is still a force to be reckoned with. The high energy four-piece from Burlington made up of Jay Burwick (bass/vocals), Chris Michetti (guitar/vocals), Todd Stoops (keyboards/vocals), and Neal Evans (drums) is as tight as they are experimental, taking the audience on a journey through complex arrangements and loose improvisational magic.

“RAQ fans are in for some serious action tomorrow night in Manhattan,” said longtime keyboardist Todd Stoops. “We have skillfully crafted a premium, hand-picked set list of our fans’ favorite songs. Expect very rare cuts, and full-throttle improvisational rock and roll. As out longtime patron Daddy Pine once said, ‘missing a RAQ show in Manhattan is equally as troubling as missing an important life event, such as the birth of a child or the premiere of your own feature film.'”
