The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea and Anthony Kiedis will host an intimate dinner gala and concert this Saturday, October 17th to benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music. The event will take place at an undisclosed warehouse in the Frogtown neighborhood of LA, with room for only 300 people to attend. The evening will feature headlining performances from John Legend and Kamasi Washington, as well as a special acoustic performance from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

A silent auction featuring artwork from over 20 renowned artists will take place. Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Ed Ruscha, Raymond Pettibon, Kenny Scharf, Thomas Houseago, Retna, Shepard Fairey, Gus Van Sant, Piero Golia, Richard Serra, Sterling Ruby, Charming Baker, Urs Fischer, Wes Lang, Dana Louise Kirkpatrick, Bernie Taupin, Erik Brunetti, Judith Supine, Dennis Hopper, and Herbie Fletcher have all donated their work to the cause.

Silverlake is a nonprofit initiated by RHCP’S Flea in 2001 that seeks to improve music education for all by offering free music lessons and granting scholarships to children in need. Read more about the great work they do here.
