Roger Waters Announced As Newport Folk Festival Headliner

Newport Folk Festival has revealed their latest headliner: Pink Floyd’s own Roger Waters. The band’s longtime bassist and songwriter will join the famed festival, performing on Friday July 24th for the first time since 2013.

The Newport Folk Festival has been a mainstay of the festival scene since it was founded in 1959. Taking place in Newport, RI from July 24-26, Waters will join a lineup that includes The Decemberists, Jason Isbell, Sufjan Stevens, First Aid Kit & more.
