As the Newport Folk Festival continues to roll out lineup announcements, one released this morning happen to catch our eye. The unexpected pairing from NFF will find singer/songwriter Ryan Adams performing with the bluegrass ensemble, The Infamous Stringdusters. Once more, vocalist Nicki Bluhm will be on hand for the performance, as she has been playing with the Stringdusters on a regular basis after releasing the Ladies & Gentlemen album earlier this year.
This is the first time these artists will share the stage, making for an exciting potential for musical collaboration. With such talented musicians in one place, we’re excited to see how it all goes down on Saturday, July 23rd. Other artists performing on that day include Norah Jones, Amy Helm, Graham Nash, Father John Misty & more!
