This year’s Brooklyn Comes Alive features an incredible roster of over 50 performers, including members of Dead & Company, The String Cheese Incident, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Medeski Martin & Wood, Snarky Puppy, Primus, RatDog, Dopapod, and so many more. Today, the festival announces a new lineup addition, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer as an artist-at-large.

The thirteen-year-old guitarist, who has been playing the lead character in Broadway’s School of Rock The Musical, will make his way over to Brooklyn for an incredible night of unique supergroups, jam sessions, and once-in-a-lifetime collaborations. Having already jammed with Buddy Guy, members of the Allman Brothers, George Clinton & The Parliament Funkadelic, Dumpstaphunk, Jon Batiste, Lettuce, and most other living idols he may have had, there’s no telling what the teenager has in store.

Set for October 22, 2016, the event will span three of Brooklyn’s most popular venues — Brooklyn Bowl, The Hall at MP, and Music Hall of Williamsburg — all within a 10 minute walking radius. Tickets to Brooklyn Comes Alive grants you access to all three venues, and can be found here. More information can be found on the festival’s website.
