This past Friday, in honor of the inauguration of the highly controversial President Donald Trump, guitarist Scott Sharrard put together a full recreation of Pink Floyd‘s Animals. The show, which took place at Rockwood Music Hall, featured all five songs from the socio-political concept album performed in order, alongside a few of Pink Floyd’s other classic songs The show, which featured Eric Finland on keys, Rich Pagano on drums and vocals, Brett Bass on bass, Connor Kennedy on guitar & vocals, Kenny Brooks on sax, and Josh Kobak on vocals, was the perfect catharsis for all in attendance, especially as many were gearing up for the next day’s massive Women’s March protest.

Thankfully, Scott Gibson was on hand to record the whole show, which has been embedded below. You’ll find versions of “Pigs On A Wing 1”, “Dogs”, “Pigs (Three Different Ones)”, “Sheep”, and “Pigs On A Wing 2”, as well as the encore of “Money” and “Comfortably Numb”. You’ll also find a photo gallery from the show, courtesy of photographer Jeremy Gordon.
