With so many new music festivals popping up every day, it’s tough to know which are worth further investigation. Well, the Shuck “N” Jive Bike Race and Music Festival is highly recommended. Taking place at McLaughlin Vineyards at Sandy Hook, CT on October 11th and 12, the venue offers a serene and bucolic setting conducive for an intimate music gathering. There is much excitement about this new offering! It is conveniently located a mere 1.5 hours from New York City and just over 2 hours from Boston.

With over 20 bands over 2 days including quality powerhouses Kung Fu, Max Creek, Brummy Brothers, Jen Durkin and the Business, BRYAC Funk all-stars, Bobby Paultauf and Natalie Cressman, the solid music will be heavily flowing. Artist at large is Billy Iuso.  There will be a late night stage, bonfire, camping, craft and food vending and wine tasting. Experienced promoter David Chard (owner of BRYAC) and his partners deliver a professional first-rate experience not to be missed! View the Saturday and Sunday artist schedule at this link.

For those outdoor and mountain bike folks, there is plenty of space to hike around and enjoy the fall foliage, as well as a 21-mile mountain bike race on the property, which anybody is welcome to join. For more information on the bike race, click here.

Tickets are limited to an allotment of only 500 limited tickets and are selling out quickly! Tickets are reasonably priced at $95 for a weekend pass; however, single-day passes are available as well ($60). You can purchase here!
