Earlier today, Live Music Blog revealed a Ticketmaster leak, showing that Skrillex and Diplo would be performing on New Years Eve at Madison Square Garden. Here’s the image they released:
Skeptics remained unconvinced, especially since the concert was not listed on the MSG calendar. However, the event remains posted on Live Nation, where a timer is counting down to a September 18th pre-sale.
Of course, this means that Phish will not be playing MSG on NYE, despite having played there the last four years. Fans are speculating that the band will play New Years in Miami, but those rumors remain unconfirmed.
