It takes a special breed of rock star to design a customized guitar. The axe is a sacred weapon of rock and roll music; only a select few can create their own brand. Leave to indie rock phenomenon and live music champion St. Vincent to join that elite crew.
Labeled as the “St. Vincent” model on the Ernie Ball Music Man line, the new guitar will be available in sleek black and Vincent blue by the beginning of next year. St. Vincent herself, Annie Clark, spoke about the guitar in a statement, saying:
“I’m extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to design a guitar this personal with this company, this family, in whom I believe so completely. The entirety of my experience as a guitarist is invested in this instrument. I sought to create a tool that would help and inspire those who share my priorities in a guitar, namely that it be comfortable and lightweight and that it exhibit clean lines, all without sacrificing tone flexibility.”
