Connecticut funk-rockers Kung Fu have announced a three-night run in Colorado over Halloween weekend. On October 26, the band will perform at The Fox Theatre in Boulder, CO, and on October 27 and 28, they will bring the party to Denver at the Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple. For their all three nights, the band will present a special concept called “Stephen Kung Fu,” where they will blend music from Stephen King movies and television series in with Kung Fu’s original funk/fusion repertoire. There are some fantastic songs attached to Stephen King’s screen adaptations, including The Ramones “Pet Sematary,” George Thorogood‘s “Bad To The Bone,” and a full film score by AC/DC for the film “Maximum Overdrive.”
