Since reuniting in 2012, the original Strangefolk lineup of Reid Genauer, Jon Trafton, Erik Glockler, and Luke Smith has played the occasional show in the Northeast. Today, the band confirmed a 3-night run at Garcia’s as the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY from June 6th-8th. The Burlington, VT jamband’s only other scheduled appearance this summer is at the Lock’n Festival in September. The group will take this opportunity to pay tribute to the Grateful Dead, as well as dig deep into their own song catalog.

“Celebrating three nights at Garcia’s is our chance to pay a small tribute to the Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary shows this summer,” Strangefolk’s Jon Trafton told Relix. “It’s also an opportunity for us to connect with each other and our fans and take a deep dive into our repertoire. What better way to do that than playing three nights at Garcia’s? Needless to say, we jumped at the opportunity. I can speak for everyone in the band in saying we can’t wait to settle in and cut loose.”
