Strangefolk is the latest band to turn lemons into lemonade following the Lockn’ rain debacle of massive storm damage resulting in a day of major cancellations. The band has announced that they will play a FREE SHOW tonight at The Whiskey Jar, a farm-to-table restaurant and bar located in Charlottesville, VA. The show will start around 10 PM.

Nearby, Bill Kreutzmann’s Billy and the Kids will play a pop-up show at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville, though tickets to the gig sold out immediately. The Southern Belles and Moogatu will also be making a rescheduled appearance at the Ante Room in Charlottesville.

Today’s Lockn’ Festival cancellations included sets from Deer Tick, Strangefolk, Soulive, Little Feat, Billy & The Kids, The Doobie Incident (Doobie Brothers with the String Cheese Incident), Mickey Hart with EOTO and Steve Kimock, Galactic and more. Definitely a huge bummer for those who made the trek to see this fantastic lineup.
