The latest artist to use BitTorrent to share their music is STS9, who today announced the ONE/ONE: Live from The Fillmore Auditorium – Denver, CO package. Starting on March 9th, the band will release a recording of their special January 1st performance at the Fillmore Auditorium on BitTorrent for just $25, and downloading that will unlock recordings of the band’s other 50 performances throughout 2015.
1/1 was a special show, in that the entire concert was improvised. No set list was prepared – just full-on, unbridled STS9 music. For fans of the band, this is a real awesome way to share in the musical experience. To get you started, here’s the band’s version of “Crystal House” from 1/1, below:
