The New Deal decided to make their return to the live setting earlier this year, and after a successful summer of shows and festival appearances, the band has decided to keep the ball rolling into 2015. The Toronto-based trio of Jamie Shields, Dan Kurtz, and new drummer Joel Stouffer have announced 2 separate 3-night runs in January and February. The first will see the New Deal make stops in California at Los Angeles’ The El Rey Theatre, and San Francisco’s The Independent. In February, the group will perform in Colorado at the Belly Up Aspen, the Boulder Theater, and Denver’s The Ogden Theatre.

The group also released their first studio track with Stouffer, titled “Sabotage the System.” Studio tracks are a fairly rare occasion for the group, so take a listen below and enjoy it!

Live for Live Music had the opportunity to interview tND bassist Dan Kurtz recently. Check out what he had to say about the decision to come back, the new formation with Joel Stouffer, and looking ahead into 2015. Read the full interview here.
