Last month, we reported on the announcement of a 90s Fest coming to Brooklyn on September 12th, complete with great entertainment made popular in the 90s. With performances from Coolio, Lisa Loeb, Smash Mouth, Tonic, Blind Melon (surviving members) and Naughty By Nature on the lineup, not to mention Nintendo 64 and pog action, we didn’t think things could get much better.

A 90s Festival With All Of Your Favorite 90s Artists and Activities Is Coming

But then… 90s Fest announced earlier this week that Salt-N-Pepa would be headlining the festival. The hip hop group turned the table on sexism in rap music, bringing some feminist pride and talent to the genre. We’re just going to leave you with a handful of Salt-N-Pepa tracks, because we know that’s what you want. Tickets and more information about the festival can be found here.
