By all accounts, it looks like Phish has hit their stride during their West Coast portion of summer tour. After super-tight and magical shows at The Gorge, the band headed down to Harvey’s Outdoor Arena in Lake Tahoe for a two-night run. And at the beginning of the second set on night two, they completely opened things up with as exploratory of a jam that they have played in the 3.0 era, with a “Tweezer” that had jaws were only held up by the floor below them.

A 37-minute “Tweezer” was filled with peaks and climaxes, the ambient to the hard rock, and everything in between, and followed up by the first “Tela” in 43 shows. Phish will begin a 3-night run at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco tomorrow night.
