2014 has been a prolific year for one Trey Anastasio. With Phish, Trey and the gang released the fiery Fuego album, their first in five years. Now, news has broken that Trey Anastasio Band will be releasing an album of their own.
While the new album, called Paper Wheels, won’t be out until early 2015, the band will be previewing some of the new tunes throughout an extensive fall tour, which runs from November 28th through December 13th, and stops at various venues across the Northeast, including NYC’s Beacon Theatre and DC’s 9:30 Club.
You can also get a free download of the Paper Wheels song “Bounce” via Trey’s official website. The album was produced by Bryce Goggin, a longtime Phish and Trey collaborator. Pre-sale tickets for the tour will be released via Trey Tickets, on October 9th at Noon ET. General on-sale begins the following week, Thursday October 16th, at Noon ET as well.
