Odd Future, the hip hop collective comprised of Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt and several others, has been laying low as a group these days as many of their individual members gain mainstream success. As of today, Tyler may have confirmed the group’s official demise. After a series of nostalgic tweets, he writes “although it is no more, those 7 letters are forever,” referring to the seven letters of the group’s full name, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA).

Tyler has been known to troll journalists but in this case, Odd Future’s…future hasn’t seemed too certain for some time. Tyler hinted at a disconnect between group members in Fader Magazine last year, claiming they are “on their own island.” He also explained how he and Earl Sweatshirt, who were once the tightest in the group, are no longer as close. “That’s my nigga. We just aren’t as close as we were. It’s kind of weird, but I’m aware and smart enough to know, okay, shit changes. Shit changes, people get older, people’s goals change.”
