As reported by the Miami New Times, a 21-year-old man by the name of Adonis Escoto has unfortunately passed away after Saturday’s festivities at the Ultra Music Festival. The details surrounding his death, however, are mysterious.

Late Saturday night, friends of Escoto report that he was feeling dizzy. Assuming he was drunk, the friends set Escoto down in their car, hoping that the Miami native would get some rest, sober up, and feel better. When they returned two hours later, they found Escoto dead.

The only source willing to talk about Escoto is his aunt Rosa, who maintains that her nephew did not take drugs, and speculates that one of his drinks may have been laced. Neither Miami Police nor Fire Departments have any additional information regarding the death. The music festival has yet to comment, and other family members have asked for privacy in mourning Escoto.

The story was mainly spread through social media, with friends and family posting “RIP Adonis” photos on Facebook and Twitter. No telling how this story will affect the Ultra Music Festival, which has received its fair share of bad publicity. Especially since available details seem to suggest that Escoto was the victim of foul play.

Most importantly though, L4LM sends our thoughts and prayers to Escoto’s loved ones.
