Warrant Issued for Grateful Dead's Mickey Hart for Assault Charges

Chris Meyer

According to TMZ, a warrant for the arrest of former Grateful Dead drummer, Mickey Hart, has been issued in the state of Kentucky. According to the police report filed by the alleged victim, Hart assaulted the victim at a Mickey Hart Band show on September 8th at Terrapin Hill Farm in Harrodsburg, KY.

Though full details of the actual report are vague at this juncture in time, it is apparently standard practice in Kentucky to issue a warrant when an alleged victim decides to press charges.

Representatives for Michael Hartman are looking further into the matter at this time. Check back with Live for Live Music for more details as they unfold.
