A second and third Dear Jerry tribute concert, following the success of last year’s festivities at Merriweather Post Pavilion, have been announced in both Washington D.C. and Fairfax, VA on October 14th and 15th, respectively. Dear Jerry: Let’s Play 2 will feature an array of musicians with a completely separate performance each night, honoring late Grateful Dead leader and guitarist Jerry Garcia.

On Oct. 14th at DAR Constitution Hall, a lineup of Warren Haynes, John Medeski, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Don Was and Raymond Weber will feature music mainly from the Jerry Garcia Band catalog. The following night at EagleBank Arena is being billed as “This Is 30!”, acting as a re-creation of a JGB concert from October 1986. Performers for that evening include The Avett Brothers, along with Warren Haynes once again.

Tickets for both Dear Jerry: Let’s Play 2 performances go on sale Thursday, September 1st at 10am EST at this link.
