Warren Haynes has been nothing short of impressive on his current Ashes & Dust tour. Performing with renowned drummer Jeff Sipe (Leftover Salmon, Aquarium Rescue Unit) and the ever-talented bluegrass ensemble ChessBoxer, Haynes has touched into a whole new element with his Ashes & Dust Band.
Now a few days into their fall tour, Haynes’ has shared a bundle of tracks from their first two shows in Kansas City, MO and Indianapolis, IN last week. The nine song collection includes some of the new music from the Ashes & Dust album (read the review), as well as covers of Little Feat’s “Skin It Back”, Allman Brothers’ “Jessica”, Grateful Dead’s “Loser”, and a righteous rendition of Haynes’ classic, “Soulshine”.
