The Aquarium Rescue Unit 26th anniversary reunion tour is well underway, as Col. Bruce Hampton and company continued their Colorado run with a stop at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO on Saturday, August 1st. The date is known to fans as “Jerry Day”, as the late Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia would have turned 73.

ARU is comprised of Jimmy Herring, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Sipe, and Matt Slocum, and the group has been playing both new and old songs throughout their reunion tour. On 8.1, the group dove into a version of “Dark Star” as the encore. You can watch footage, shared by the band, below:
