Steve Kimock celebrated his 60th birthday last night at the Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA with a few special guests including Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools, Ratdog drummer Jay Lane, percussionist Wally Ingram, keyboard player Jeff Chimenti and The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir. Weir sat in for a few tunes, joining Kimock on a take of George Harrison’s “Beware Of Darkness” a sassy “Good Morning Little School Girl”, and following it up with gorgeous “Dark Star”.
