One of NPR’s most popular series is the Tiny Desk Concerts, grouping generally large bands behind a small desk in the NPR Music offices. Every year, the series holds a contest fielding user submissions, and the winning band gets the chance to perform on the actual NPR program, as well as additional publicity opportunities. This year’s contest caught our eye when it was announced that Phish’s own Trey Anastasio was one of the judges involved, and again when NOLA favorites Tank And The Bangas were declared the winner from over 6,000 entries!

Today, NPR has released the full Tiny Desk Concert with Tank and the Bangas. It’s a rollicking good time that’s sure to put a smile on your face! The band plays three songs in the near-half hour set, including “Boxes And Squares,” “Quick,” and “Rollercoasters.” Brimming with energy, this is one Tiny Desk you won’t want to miss.
