Greensky Bluegrass may have a penchant for songwriting, as their 2014 release If Sorrows Swim topped our best albums list, but that hasn’t stopped them from playing some of the best bluegrass-infused covers in the business. From their post-“Dear Jerry” version of the Grateful Dead’s “Eyes of the World” to their rendition of Prince’s “When Doves Cry” and more, Greensky never fails to keep the crowd entertained.

We’re happy to share footage of the band’s newest addition to the repertoire, a full-on bluegrass rendition of Phish’s “Julius”. The song was played at the “High Steppin Into Town” benefit concert, which was held in Chicago just one day before the “Fare Thee Well” concerts. Other performers included The Infamous Stringdusters and Keller Williams.
