Beloved jammers Dopapod hit the The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA earlier this year along with Aqueous, playing three incredible hometown shows to a capacity crowd from April 28th through the 30th. The band continues to grow with every passing show, adding new originals and covers to their repertoire and making it look easy all the while. With the two bands’ upcoming New Year’s throwdown at the Madison Theater in Covington, KY, we decided to revisit the memorable run.
Among the many highlights from the run was a collaborative moment with Dave Loss and Mike Gantzer of Aqueous, who were on as opening support for the show. The two joined Dopapod for a rendition of The Eagles’ song “Hotel California,” taking the classic rocker for a ride with this progressive interpretation.
