Phil Lesh & Friends returned to New York City last night as a part of Central Park’s summer long Summerstage Festival and delighted the crowd to an energetic evening of Grateful Dead tunes. Alongside Phil were the fine gentlemen of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Soulive’s Eric Krasno, whom Phil had just played with at the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, VA.

Lesh will return to New York City twice more this year, October 30-31 at The Capitol Theatre with guitarists Stanley Jordan, John Kadlecik, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and drummer Tony Leone, and then again on November 6-7 at the Cap with guitarists David Nelson, Barry Sless and Scott Law as well as Crosby and drummer John Molo.
