Last weekend, Hot Tuna got their freak on at the Beacon Theatre for two great nights of music. The cause for celebration? Jorma Kaukonen, who turns 75 next month. The two-night run featured a hearty number of guests, including John Hammond, Teresa Williams, Larry Campbell, Rachael Price, and Jeff Pehrson.

Perhaps one of the highlights of the two-night run was this rousing cover of the Grateful Dead classic “Sugaree.” With Teresa Williams on lead vocals, the band broke into the Jerry Garcia-penned tune as the second encore of the last show before bidding a fond farewell to their adoring fans.
