In describing her case, plaintiff Talina Apodoca told Judge Judy that she was “working EDC.” Unsurprisingly, despite Apodoca’s nonchalant tone, Judy was unfamiliar with Electric Daisy Carnival, the massively successful rave held annually in Las Vegas, NV.

Of course, things only got worse for Apodoca, who then had to explain the conceptual nature of a rave. After hearing the full explanation, the TV judge scolded her plaintiff for working a “two day wave” instead of getting a stable, 9-to-5 job.
