While STS9 is known for their unique jamtronica fusion sound, the band occasionally steps outside of their box by performing what they call an “Axe The Cables” set. For their second night at Electric Forest last weekend, STS9 decided to unplug and treat fans to an acoustic performance.

The show featured a number of STS9 classics with new instrumentation, including opener “Love Don’t Terrorize,” “Aimlessly” and more! They also worked in Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis into their set, making their Electric Forest show all the more special.

Thanks to YouTube user Jimmy Klonowski, we have video footage of “Vapors” and Miles Davis’ “So What” into STS9’s “Call.” Check out the footage below!
