It’s been 43 long years since the original Santana lineup graced the stage, but you wouldn’t have known it from the band’s performance at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV last night. Santana recently announced that his original band, featuring musicians like Gregg Rolie (keyboards, lead vocals), Neal Schon (guitar, vocals), Michael Carabello (percussion) and Michael Shrieve (drums), would reunite for both a new album and a single performance.

That performance took place last night in Vegas, as the original Santana band hit the stage and played songs both old and new for a wildly enthusiastic crowd. While the concert was taped for a TV special and subsequent DVD release, one fan filmed a couple highlights for us to share and enjoy.
