After a long day debating a political party’s platforms on some of our nation’s most troubling issues, sometimes you just need to dance. That’s exactly what happened at the Republican National Convention yesterday, when the Cleveland gathering let loose and got their awkward grooves going.

Of course, yesterday also featured a top-notch performance from the jam band Phish, which included a number of bust outs and tour debuts throughout the night. Among those many tour debuts was the track “Sing Monica,” taken from the group’s 2014 album Fuego. Naturally, with CSPAN footage of an RNC dance party matching the tempo of Phish’s song, the crossover potential was at an all time high. Thanks to the great mkdevo (aka notmkdevo on YouTube), we have an amazing video of the RNC getting down to Phish.

Without further ado, here’s “Exclusive Video of the RNC Phish BGCA3 Streaming Party.” Enjoy.
