Out on the road in early 2016 as part of their Digitonium tour, Brooklyn funk powerhouse Turkuaz rolled into Nashville last night at the Exit/In, unloading a ferocious mix of classic tunes from the band’s repertoire including “Lookin’ Tough Feelin’ Good,” “Chatte Lunatique,” and “Coast to Coast,” as well as several choice cuts like “Percy Thrills The Moondog,” “Digital Love,” “The Generator,” and “Nightswimming” from the band’s 2015 studio record Digitonium.

In addition, Turkuaz welcomed in several guests throughout the evening including drummer Robert “Sput” Searight of Snarky Puppy during “Makin’ Babies,” Jennifer Hartswick of the Trey Anastasio Band for a soaring version of the band’s “Bubba Slide,” and Jeff Coffin of the Dave Matthews Band to get the blood pumping during a set closing “Monkey Fingers.” Watch some fan-shot video of both performances below.
