Last night steal guitar virtuoso Roosevelt Collier hosted a show at The Gleason Room Backstage at The Fillmore Miami dubbed “Jimi Meets Funk, presented by L4LM, featuring drummer Anthony Cole, keyboardist Jason Matthews and bassist Matt Lapham.

For those lucky enough to be in attendance, they were rewarded with a surprise sit-in by Warren Haynes who was in town with the Ashes & Dust Band (ChessBoxer and Jeff Sipe). Haynes helped Collier & Co. rip through a version of Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child.” Take a look at some fan-shot footage below:
