Last night, Widespread Panic hit the fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta for the first night of a three-night NYE run. The band wasted no time getting the party started, opening with “Sell Sell” from their new album Street Dogs. “Ace of Spades” came out next, played as a tribute to Lemmy Kilmister who recently passed away.

The show also featured sit-ins from Chuck Leavell, who joined for debut covers of “Low Down Dirty Dog Blues” (Leroy Carr), “Dead Flowers” (Rolling Stones), and “Jessica” (ABB) in the first set. Leavell would later return for a segment in the second set as well as the full encore.
