Jimmy Fallon is known for his musical parodies. Whether he’s making fun of Neil Young or Bob Dylan, Barry Gibb or Mick Jagger, Fallon loves a good parody of a music legend. Well, Fallon got a taste of his own medicine last night, as Saturday Night Live veteran and current star of The Last Man On Earth Will Forte stopped by The Tonight Show last night to poke a little fun at Gregg Allman.
Portrayed as a special guest of The Roots, Forte fashioned himself as “Gregg Almond” from the “Almond Brothers”. Forte’s character claimed that the Allman Brothers are just a rip-off version of his Almond Brothers band and at one point he performs a joke-song with help from the band. There are a lot of almond/nut jokes and…well, I’ll let Forte and Fallon take it from here.
