Beloved jam band Widespread Panic finished off their two night run in Bend, OR with a bang, playing the Les Schwab Amphitheatre with a passion. For the second night in a row, WSP welcomed members of Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons throughout their set, but night two featured a unique bust out in the form of a Neil Young cover.

Played for the first time in 462 shows (10/17/2009), Panic welcomed Jerry Joseph on guitar and vocals, as well as Steve Drizos on percussion, for a great live version of “Cortez The Killer.” Played for the sixth time in Panic history, the rarity was a welcomed addition to a fantastic performance. You can listen to the audio of the jam, streaming below courtesy of PanicStream.

The full set also featured some WSP classics, like a “Disco” opener and tunes like “B of D,” “Good People,” “Stop/Go,” and so many more. With an encore of “Blue Indian” and “Action Man,” Widespread Panic bid their Oregon fans a fond farewell.
