Perhaps no two words are as revered by live music fans as “free tickets.”

As we previously reported, Ticketmaster was forced to give discount vouchers for future ticket purchases after losing a class-action lawsuit. Filed in 2003, the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class action lawsuit claimed that the fees charged on tickets “are excessive and deceptive.” Fortunately for us, Schlesinger won.

Not only is Ticketmaster giving out discount vouchers, but there are also vouchers for free tickets as well! If you purchased Ticketmaster tickets between 1999 and 2013, which most readers here probably did, then you should be checking your account right about now. Just log in to Ticketmaster and go to the “My Account” page under your name in the top right corner. From there, you can find an Active Vouchers section in the left-hand menu. The one catch, however, is that the eligible shows list currently links to a error page… hopefully that will soon be fixed.

There might be plenty of free tickets waiting!
