Just last month, the Red Hot Chili Peppers hosted a special album release party at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, CA. There, they treated fans to live debuts of a number of their new original songs from the recently-released The Getaway. Among them was “Go Robot,” a futuristic and funky jam that really came to life in the live setting.

As if the Chili Peppers needed more funk, they called on bassist extraordinaire Thundercat to join the party. Thundercat and Flea are truly two of the best bassists performing today, and their fusion only accelerates their funky chops. The two go toe to toe in the song, and we all are better for it!
