On March 31st, The Knitting Factory will play host to two great live acts, as Zach Deputy will bring his island-infused soul to the Brooklyn club, with the Organically Good Trio opening up the festivities. Featuring Slightly Stoopid keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft, the Hammond-organ-driven group brings emphatic soul to all of their music. These two bands are guaranteed to get you dancing and feeling right.

Zach Deputy is the one-man-dance-band, using effects and looper pedals to create dynamic beats and rich melodies. Weaving elements of Calypso, funk, jazz, rock and just about anything you can think of, Deputy does what he does best – make people smile. Always upbeat, his performance style is like nothing else, and his rigorous tour schedule has led the singer/songwriter to share the joy nationwide.

Tickets for this great pairing are available through the Knitting Factory Ticketweb page; for only $15, this great double billing is an absolute bargain. Come out and dance! Until then, check out these clips of the bands below, and enter to win tickets!
