Dopapod and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have joined forces for a massive fall tour. The energy at each stop has been incredible, and that was on full display when they stopped at New York City’s Irving Plaza this past Friday night.

Pigeons turned in a high-energy performance, with frontman Greg Ormont shouting out old friends along the way. The band performed songs like “Julia” and “Penguins”, as well as an excellent cover of “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads. Dopapod crushed their headlining set as well, with Eli Winderman‘s keyboard skills on full display throughout the evening, opening with a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Sheep” and never relenting. Guitarist Rob Compa was on fire as well, at one point leading the band into a slick tease of Rage Against The Machine‘s “Know Your Enemy”.

The tour continues in Asheville, NC on 11/30 at the Orange Peel before continuing south to Atlanta’s Terminal West, Charleston’s Pour House, and more throughout December. Check out the full tour schedule below.
