Joey Porter is definitely a master of all things funk, and he proved that once again last night at Fort Collins, CO’s The Aggie Theatre, as the keyboardist brought along his brothers from The Motet for a Juno What?! performance. With Dave Watts behind the kit, Garrett Sayers holding it down on bass, and Steve Swatkins bringing on keys, the group laid down some synthesized electro-funk sounds that provided the perfect backdrop to an all-out dance party.

With support from the Jaden Carlson Band and Mikey Thunder, Juno What?! brought some old-school West Coast hip-hop flavored beats that had everybody shaking their money makers at The Aggie. Check out videos of the group playing the Juno What?! original “You Can’t Stop It,” along with a cover of Eddy Grant‘s “Electric Avenue” from his 1982 album Killer on the Rampage. The group plays Cervantes’ Other Side in Denver tonight.
