Last weekend, the jammers known as Twiddle made their way to Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT for two nights of musical mayhem. The group had some additional support from keyboardist Todd Stoops throughout the run, including a stellar sit-in for a cover of Grateful Dead’s “Eyes of the world” on night one. Watch that here.

Stoops returned again for night two, as did Kung Fu drummer Adrian Tramontano, who spent the whole night augmenting Twiddle’s drumming with his own patented funky brand of percussive glory. The show featured a great “Drum-off” moment between Tramontano and Twiddle’s own drummer, Brook Jordan, during the song “Every Soul.” Stoops also performed on the jam, reprising his role from the 2015 album PLUMP.

The show marked the final night of Twiddle’s “Plumperdump” winter tour, closing out with a five song second set that featured Honeycomb beatboxing and Tramontano briefly take over on the keys for “Latin Tang.” With “Mamunes The Faun” as the encore, fans were sent home happy from the sold-out, two nights of Twiddle.

For Northeastern fans of the group, fear not, because Twiddle hits The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on May 7th. L4LM is hosting the band’s “Love Relentlessly” contest for the show, where the best viral video of someone performing a random act of kindness for a stranger will receive four tickets and Presidential Booth accommodations.
