As the Umphrey’s McGee tour rolls along, supporting jammers TAUK have been finding themselves more prevalent on the main stage. The Long Island, NY progressive rock/funk quartet have been on our radar for quite some time, and their recognition from Umphrey’s only further cements the band’s great reputation.

Last Saturday night, Umphrey’s McGee and TAUK brought their tour to the beautiful Palace Theatre in Albany, NY. Umphrey’s opened up their show with their 2016 debut of “Catshot,” before launching into a set-long “JaJunk” sandwich that included “Mulche’s Odyssey,” “Gone For Good,” “Cemetery Walk,” “Cemetery Walk II,” and “Ringo” before heading back into “JaJunk.” “Gone For Good” also featured Jake Cinninger on acoustic guitar.

One of the main highlights from set two was a major jam session on “Bad Friday,” which included TAUK drummer Isaac Teel and keyboardist Alric “A.C.” Carter. You can listen to that, as well as the whole show, below:
