After a year-long hiatus, Dopapod will return to the road and play at Denver’s Ogden Theatre on October 5th in part of their newly announced Emit Time tour.
Named after Dopapod’s recent album of the same name, Emit Time marks the band’s follow up to their 2017 release of Megagem. As their first tour since returning from their year-long creative break and igniting back up at The Capitol Theatre in April, Dopapod will make stops in Denver, Philadelphia, Chicago, Covington, Boston (two nights), Asheville, and Atlanta. The tour will showcase some of the world’s most talented musicians as support, including Ghost-Note, Octave Cat, Jojo Mayer / NERVE, paris_monster, and DOMi & JD Beck.
After finishing their summer circuit at Gardener’s Farm, Peach Music Festival, The Werk Out Festival, and Resonance Music Festival, the band will kick off their Emit Time tour with two stops in Denver, performing at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox for a VIP set before kicking off their tour and returning to the iconic Ogden Theatre with Octave Cat. The show marks the band’s second headlining show and non-festival performance since their hiatus.
Featuring Dopapod’s Eli Winderman on keys, along with Lotus’ Jesse Miller and Charlie Patierno, Octave Cat will open up the band’s only tour stop in the Midwest. The show also marks Dopapod’s return to the Ogden Theatre since their 2017 performance with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

In addition to their May release of Emit Time, the band released their reunion show at the Capitol Theatre as a live record, Live At The Capitol Theatre, and recently shared 100+ live recordings for fans to revisit through Nugs.net.
