Colorado’s Big Gigantic is about to head out on their Got The Love Tour in a little over a week’s time, which will see the duo of Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken head down to Atlanta, GA for a show at the Coca-Cola Roxy on Saturday, February 10th with support from Shallou (purchase tickets here). To compliment their musical stylings, Big G’s performance is enhanced by state-of-the-art production and set designs which have helped make the group a must-see headliner and top tier festival act across the board, at venues and events such as Red Rocks AmphitheatreCoachella, Bonnaroo, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and more.

In 2016, the electronic, hip-hop, and jazz-influenced group dropped their hit album Brighter Future, which debuted at #1 on iTunes Electronic charts and #2 on Billboard Dance / Electronic chart. The album features guest spots from the likes of Waka Flocka Flame (“Highly Possible”), GRiZ (“C’mon”), as well as Trey Anastasio Band’s two leading ladies Jennifer Hartswick (“I’ve Gotta Know” and “Got The Love”) and Natalie Cressman (“No Apologies”), to name a few. A few months back, Big G released the remix compilation of the album, Brighter Future Remixed, which finds the likes of Kasbo, Manic Focus, Kill The Zo (Matt Zo and Kill The Noise), Naderi, and more.

Big Gigantic are firm believers in music with a purpose, as the duo has been involved in various charities and non-profit organizations from day one, including Conscious Alliance and their own A Big Gigantic Difference Foundation. In an interview with Dancing Astronaut, Lalli discussed the group’s charitable endeavors, specifically with Youth On Record, an orgnaization that aims to “empower 1,000 teens in some of Denver’s most vulnerable communities to make life choices that positively impact their future by teaching them to develop the coping tools, inspiration, and wherewithal to succeed in today’s world and to become leaders.”

“It’s great to help out the community we live in,” Lalli explained. “If we are giving instruments to kids that are in our community, that’s just passing the torch on to the next generation. It’s great to be able to do it locally, because we’re able to come down and help in person.”

Joining Big G in the support spot is Shallou, an indie-electronic producer based out of Chicago, IL. Downtempo, ambient, ethereal beats and vocals highlight the sounds of his 2017 debut EP All Becomes Okay. Shallou has also released a beautiful cover of Radiohead‘s “Motion Picture Soundtrack,” honoring the group that provided early inspiration for the artist. Shallou is the perfect compliment to Big G’s bangers, with a style that will get the crowd grooving early and often.
