Brown Town Music Festival, the annual event which takes place at the Rising Sun Campground along the Tippecanoe River in Monterrey, IN, will celebrate its 10th year when it returns on June 7th and 8th. The event will once again be hosted by Indiana-based jam quintet Chester Brown, who will deliver headlining performances on both nights. Brown Town will also feature two days worth of music from artists including Mr. Blotto, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Covert Operations, Brainchild, Allgood, Stealin’ the Farm, and the Tommy Thompson Band, just to name a few.

Attendees of all ages should have a great time enjoying all the weekend’s performances taking place amongst the wonders of nature while surrounded by the relaxing, rural beauty of northern Indiana. Thankfully, a ticket to Brown Town offers much more than just music. Attendees will get the chance to enjoy the outdoors with kayaks, rafts, and canoes which are all available for rent on-site. Fans can spend their days floating down the Tippecanoe River like a lazy-river ride, where they’ll also find a small beach nearby. The festival grounds also include a swimming pool just in case mother nature’s stream isn’t quite your cup of tea.

As per tradition, a portion of the performers on the lineup will take the stage inside the late-night barn, keeping the party going late into the night. Organizers have yet to announce which acts will set up shop inside the barn for the late-night sets this year, but the full artist schedule should arrive in the coming weeks.

As for the camping, attendees will have the option of choosing various camping setups ranging from primitive to electrified to the traditional camp-by-your-car strategy. RV camping is also available for those who want to bring home with them. Attendees hoping to take care of their bodies in recovery from dancing all weekend can also do so with some yoga and/or Flow Arts sessions which take place on Saturday morning.

There’ll be no need to worry about food, as a pair of food trucks will also be on site at the event. South Shore Oven Works will provide Neopolitan style pizza made by Eataly Chicago‘s Pizzaiola Chef Jim Chaddock, while Lulu’s Licks will offer up some of their signature bubble freeze and bubble milk teas to go along with savory snacks ranging from empanadas and tacos to Mexican street corn in a cup.
