Rising Denver, CO-based live-electronic trio Nobide has been garnering acclaim over the last two years with a steady stream of single releases. Powered by Nick Vann‘s edgy production, drummer Matt McElwain‘s driving rhythms, and saxophonist Tanner Fruit’s affinity for jazz and texture, Nobide’s dedicated fanbase has grown exponentially with each successive new track.

The latest track from Nobide arrives on streaming platforms on Friday, July 19th in the form of “In The Night”, a dynamic, dancey-yet-dream-like vamp that evokes equal parts Genesis and Chromeo. Rowdy enough for dancefloors and deep enough for solitary headphone reflection, “In The Night” marks yet another big step forward for the fledgling trio.

Nobide – “In The Night”

Recorded in their home studio and mixed at Evergroove Studios in Evergreen, CO, “In The Night” was initially meant to be a trap song. However, when they sat down to record, they started playing some Phil Collins—and the rest is history.

As producer Nick Vann explains to Live For Live Music, “’In The Night’ has a groove we’ve been digging and exploring for a minute, a balance of weird and fun and straight jam. We’re stoked to get this out and to see what comes next.”

Today, Live For Live Music is thrilled to premiere the new music video for Nobide’s “In The Night” ahead of the track’s official release on Friday. Check it out below:

Nobide sold out their first-ever Denver headlining show earlier this year after having supported nationally touring local favorite acts like The Floozies, Michal Menert, and SunSquabi in the past. After making serious waves at Summer Camp Music Festival and Sonic Bloom, Nobide was quickly added to an already robust 20th-Anniversary Camp Bisco Music Festival lineup, where the band plans to debut their new single live this weekend.
