The inaugural Suwannee Roots Revival Festival got off to a wild start in Live Oak, FL last night, as Missouri’s favorite bluegrass sons The Hillbenders performed their epic rendition of The Who’s classic rock opera Tommy. With a packed crowd of early arrivals ready to blow off steam, the reception in crowd was as raucous as the antics of the band onstage. Our own Rex Thomson is on the scene and captured the rip-roaring rendition of the tune for us all to enjoy!
